Who We Are
Curvaceous is an Australian, family owned business focused on creating comfortable plus size clothing that fits. Founded by Jen and her husband Shane in 1999, we’ve grown from a small at home operation in the Blue Mountains to a close knit team in Penrith, NSW. Curvaceous started as a way to offer women like Jen something that wasn’t readily available—clothing designed specifically for curves, with quality and comfort as the priorities.

 

Why Haven’t You Heard of Us?
While we don’t have big advertising budgets, we believe that word of mouth speaks louder than flashy campaigns. With a loyal community on Facebook and countless long time customers, our growth has been rooted in genuine relationships and trust.

 

What to Expect from Curvaceous
Our designs are generous in size, true to fit, and made for your comfort and to feel confident. We pre shrink our fabric, we choose quality fabrics. We include detailed measurements for every item, so you can shop online with ease. If a piece doesn’t fit, simply return it for a refund (excludes clearance items). We’re always available to chat and help you find the right fit, no hard sells, just genuine support.

 

Our Promise of Ethical, Small Batch Production
We’re proud that our range is not mass-produced. Our designs do not exceed 200-250 pieces per print bringing you something unique that you won’t see on everyone else. Each item is made with care by small, family run factories we’ve partnered with for years. We’ve built strong, trusted relationships with our factories.

Our partner factories prioritise ethical practices, providing fair pay, reasonable working hours, air-conditioned environments, and meaningful breaks. These are small, close knit teams like ours, where workers are respected and valued, not treated as part of a production line. No child labor is involved, and the youngest worker in our factories is 21.

By teaming up with small factories, not mass producing our products & wanting to ensure we trade ethically this can raise costs and we make every effort to keep them affordable for the quality we provide. By manufacturing overseas this also allows us to give Aussies jobs. 

Our Sizing Promise
Curvaceous garments are true to size and generously cut, removing the guesswork from online shopping. There’s no need to “upsize” here, just reliable, comfortable clothing made to fit and flatter.
